Russell T Davies, OBE (born Stephen Russell Davies, 27 April 1963) is a Welsh writer and producer who held the position of head writer and executive producer on Doctor Who from its revival in 2005 until 2010. He created the spin-offs Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
