Talfryn Thomas (31 October 1922 - 4 November 1982) was a Welsh actor who made two guest appearances on Doctor Who, playing Mullins in "Spearhead from Space" and Dave Davies in "The Green Death".

Born in Swansea, Thomas was best known for his recurring roles as Private Cheeseman on Dad's Army (which also featured a number of Doctor Who alumni, including Fulton Mackay, Philip Madoc, Derek Newark and John Ringham) and as Tom Price on the Terry Nation-created Survivors (along with John Abineri, Roger Lloyd-Pack and Edward Underdown). During the 1970s, Thomas had supporting roles on several variety shows with Ken Dodd, beginning with Funny You Should Say That in 1972 and culminating with The Ken Dodd Laughter Show in 1979. In 1980, he appeared alongside Jon Pertwee in an episode of Worzel Gummidge. He died of a heart attack on 4 November 1982, four days after his 60th birthday.
